"The car swept back onto the street, and the pretty little row of businesses descended upon them like a wall of spikes. Sid took a quick look at Silas, who returned it with a nod before grabbing the window with his left hand and hoisting everything but his legs out into the crisp night air, planting himself in a sitting position on the door itself. Her heart skipped a beat, but she followed suit, taking great care to place herself in a way that made her feel as sturdy as possible.

Miranda's was two stores down, and the car was slowing. Silas held up his grenade to made sure she could see, pressed tightly down on the safety lever, and ripped the pin from the head. As she wrapped her fingers around her own grenade's lever, she became aware of the fact that she was shaking. Wrapping her finger around the pin ring, she took in a slow, deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. With a slow exhale, she yanked away the pin in her own hand."

Oh, look what I just finished! I'm on such a kick today. I worked fixing up last night's BPHS environment, created new navigation for my portfolio site, drew and colored another profile pic for Descending, painted this up, and the sun isn't even setting yet!
